-Prologue-
I never believed it would happen to me. Never believed I would be one of the select few.
All of our lives, we are told that we have come a long way from our past. The war that plagued our planet is long gone. And we have sprung from where we stood.
At least... that’s what they tell us. They don't tell is that the life of two innocent girls was what ended the war. Or that the prince of our people, and the holy guardian that protected our planet from exploding, disappeared two days later.
I thought I was normal... well, as normal as you can be when both of your parents are immortal beings, and you are the "mother" to an orphan girl who visits you every week. I also can't tell anybody about it.
But the story you are about to hear, is not about my parents. It’s about what happens when you keep deadly secrets from the mass of a whole planet. This is what happens when you attempt to cover up history.
